Here are some RARE shots of an original Body Corvette stripped to the Fiberglass for the first time. It is a virgin body = never hit car with all the original body panels. Note all the skim coats of body filler used AT the ST. Louis GM Factory plant, on specific panels but not crossing between panels.; And all the original Body seams. With the factory building 90 corvettes per day they quickly knew the low spots on the body and used very thin coats of filler then sanded it flat.
